ALROSA says diamond sales rise 34% to $521.6 mln in Dec

MOSCOW, Jan 13 (PRIME) -- Diamond sales of Russian diamond mining company ALROSA rose by 34% on the month to U.S. $521.6 million in December, the company said on Wednesday.

Sales of rough diamonds amounted to $470.3 million and of polished diamonds to $51.2 million.

In 2020, diamond sales amounted to $2.802 billion, falling from $3.338 billion in 2019. Sales of rough diamonds amounted to $2.652 billion and of polished diamonds to $150 million.
